Even if it is taxpayer money, which i'm not sure that it is, that money is given to them to run a campaign however they want to do it. It bothers me a little bit because he's supposed to be working for us. You could almost think of an election as a job interview and we're picking the guy for the job. But realistically, a lot of the people that hate him are complete fanatics and would spoil all of his speeches. Think about what that would do to future campaigns, it would turn into guerilla campaign tactics. Everyone woudl just be trying to spoil whatever the other guy was doing.
