Hi,
Anyone here from miami? If so, I'm thinking of going to Miami either on halloween, or thanks giving. I asume halloween would be nice for the nightlife and thanksgiving would be nice for shopping; am i right? Is a hotel downtown recommended or near the beach? Rent a car or just use the undergrounds/taxi's?
I'm not planning on laying on the beach, more for nightlife and the usual tourist attractions. Any other handy websites or info you want to share?

edit: or would ya recomment not going on these days at all and just visit miama on a normal day?
