I'm extremely offended at "ricer" not being so controversial among TW since everyone is race-conscious. "Je*" is not derogatory, "Ky**" is. Hypocrites, just because its an accepted term, don't use it. "hey, lets debate over judaism and forget about asians all together."

The term comes from the fact that Japanese economy cars are the primary victims of these senseless "upgrades". Granted, a lot of Cavaliers, Neons, etc. get the same maltreatment, but the fact still stands that Civics and Accords are two cars that get riced out very frequently. I'm sorry if your ignorant, overly sensitive, reality-deprived ass is offended by us "crackers" using the word "rice". Stop being so fucking insecure and lighten up.

If people are offended by a term that has racial implications then it is indeed racist.

There is an easier way to resolve this issue without being indignant about people being offended, and that's by saying that you are using the term "ricer" to describe people (of any race, not just Asians) who soup up Asian cars. From your post, it seems it's the souping up of cars that bothers you, not the fact that they are Asians. The main problem is focussed mainly on the first sentence of your first post which gives the impression you're talking about only Asians who soup up cars. People of other races do this to, but if you are just focusing on Asians who do, then yes, you are indeed being racist. I don't think that's the case, so if you can show that this is true then there's no problem.

By the way I see nothing tasteless in the car Send posted. Ok so the rims are kind of gay but I'd say they are 80's american and not japsie junk (if you want to call it that).

edit: This body-kit is actually better looking than the original if you ask me. I just wish the new parts would be of the same color as the original
