Well here is what I put together when i got to my perm duty station.

And my case is currently a 2 drawer desk i cut a hole in the back and thats where the wires go, with it open im at around 95 degrees farenheit, but with it close i hit 120 ez , If your an over clocker speak up or a benchmarker, lets see some screen shots of before and after or pics of your pc, if you wana see my bitch, then say so and i shall post :Ive spent about 4 grand so far") I bought all these parts individualy and built the machine myself thats why name brand buyers are NOOOOOOOOOOBS!!! I can build a 700$ machine that whups your 3grand alien ware :P GG

Yawn, I have my case modefied by myself and my friend. I have a wind tunnel between my cooler and fan, that is quite bigger then a 12". I have to fans on back, that blows on my hdd. And one down-front. Every single fan is controlled by a panel I have at front. I can easily shutdown all fan if I want. I can also increase or decrease the CPU fan's voltage. The only thing that is noisy is my outdated 3d-card. I could modified that one too, putting a cpu cooler that of course would be specified and modified so that it fits and then just put a much less nosier fan blowing on it. And prolly overclock it later.

Specs:
Abit NFS-7, intergraded network adapeter, sound system. No need for better if you are not a musician.
AMD Barton 2500+, overclocked to a 3200+ xp (ie. 2,2 ghz) going on 54-56 celsius when playing games.
3d-card, GeForce4 ti 4200
Maxtor sata 160 gig + non-working (at the moment) IBM desktar 60 gig that really sucks, since it had a manifacture fault,
been on support 2 times. First time on support I got a new one.
DVD-station, plextor 16 writning speed (not often used though)
Powersource, Nexus Silent Power NX-3500 Special Edition 350W ATX, it aint about the wt, its all about the amper.
Case well you heard me before, got a panel, and it has a customised plexy plating on the side. No neon light tho or something like that, those things are so useless,
and I don't see any cool factor in it. Though a lcd screen would be cool. :P

I say this is decent game computer, not some kind of monster gamestation. All self-built, going to buy a Readeon 9800PRO and overclock it to a 9800XT.

Thats a pretty nice setup, my x dreamer case seems to small and i cant put enuff in it, im thinking of buying this one next pay day a Koolance PC3-410BK you can check it out at http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/frozencpu/cas-269.html and with my watercooling on the way there is no reason to have a ton of fans, only fans that i will have is one tornado on the radiator, for my monster i have no reason to overclock it yet, it runs doom 3 in ultra settings flawlessly its great i love it , only thing i wish i had waited for was the x800 ohwell thou

Ohh, that case looks awesome! Looks like its the same size as my case. If I had little bit more of that extra cash i would upgrade my computer with few things as a new case, mobo, 3d-card, watercooling system, some hdds, etc. But the thing is I don't have cash to spare, but I do have the cash to buy it all. It jsut that I'm saving for my comming studies.

I would say that your computer is pretty slick

the case is kind of like this but it's made of only one color (the middlemost brown) and it has an extra compartment at the back to take away the noise of the power supply (and intake ai) and a door in the front to take away the noise of the CD drive. And it has no window.

I dont care about the processor, I dont see much difference between AMD and Intel.

I was gonna get 3.6 GHz but the motherboard I bought can only handle up to 3.2GHz chips, not many motherboards can support more than this :/
