I'm content to stew a little longer here, myself. Once I see Kerry's election speech and spend the rest of the day screaming at everyone I see, I'll feel better and I'll join you on the rational side.

I listened to kerry's speech, I thought it was really good, but felt sort of empty at the same time. It's probably way harder to write a losing speech than it is to write a winning one.

I didn't get the president I wanted, but some stuff went my way locally... the monorail construction didn't get blocked, the toxic waste needs to be cleaned up and the sales tax increase didn't go through.

We still don't know who our governor is, but it looks like it's a real shithead named Dino rossi who is financially bright as hell, but he's one of these "protect the sanctity of marriage" assholes.

What you guys don't seem to understand is that a large chunk of the American population still gets the sick feeling in their stomach when homosexuality is mentioned. I understand what they feel, because I too feel it. So you can call us all "dumbfucks" or whatever you want, but we ain't going to vote for something that makes us feel sick. I'm sorry that you think that freedom means "anything goes", but not everyone feels like that.

That's the beauty of a democratic system of government - we get to vote on issues like this.

Now I'm not going to call you an ignorant asshole because of this matter. You calling Americans ignorant for their feelings and emotions is just as wrong as us calling you ignorant for not having the emotions and feelings.

Either way, you can look at us as being "close-minded", or we can look at you as having "no moral standard".

I voted Bush because I see the liberal trend as being chaotic. Go Bush!

Oh yea...and the war was about a 0% factor in my vote. Go figure?

I can't imagine how angry I'd be if I lived in the states. I know it's childish, but sometimes I wish that I was 400 feet tall so I could walk around America telling the republicans how stupid they are. If I was 400 feet, they'd HAVE to listen to me. And if they didn't, I'd crush them like ants.

I didn't see Kerry's speech, but I hope he stopped being a politically correct pussy and just told the truth about Bush. Thats he's a greedy bible thumping son of a bitch that sent thousands of Americans to go die in Iraq so his buddy Dick could make some more dough.
