Of the 18 people in the club, 10 are not boring (55%), 6 are boring (33%), and 2 are a hedge (11%). The problem is that you can be not boring, and still a moron. Of the 18 people on the list, I came up with 6 idiots (33%), 9 non-idiots (50%!), and 3 hedges (16.666%). Two of the not borings fell into the idiot space, making a total of 8 out of 18 (44%) who are either boring or idiots, which isn't so bad. Taking hedges from both categories into account: 7 out of 18 (38.888%) are not boring and not idiots, with the remaining 11 (61.111%) either being sort of boring, sort of idiots, or worse in either or both categories.

EDIT 2: Keep in mind that I was pretty generous with this "not boring" stuff. I tried to give people who were even on the fringe margins of interesting the benefit of the doubt.
