    quick question

    I have a friend whos bday is coming up this wed and she likes this kind of flower which looks like it has just one large white petal and a very long green stem, I can't think of the name of this flower and its driving me nuts! someone give me a hint? i thought it was a lilac or a lily but the pics I got from google image search didnt match.

    If that's what you're talking about, it's called a Calla Lily. It also comes in other pastels, but generally white.

        No problem. Once I was making corsages and I needed my guy friend to cut a Calla Lily for me. Long story short, he almost cut off his finger trying to cut a flower.
