overrated: sure. But worth reading if you're not a big fan of good books

That last book you forgot about apt is called Deception Point.

Its about NASA saying they found a meteorite buried in the Arctic ice cap. But if you'v read his other 3 books then you know theres more to it than than. I wouldnt want to spoil it for you though so i wont say more. Except that like the other 3 books he's published, its very captivating.

And i agree with TK. I like Hanks but he's not the man for that particular role.

Read Angels and Demons and Digital Fortress if you get a chance. Really good books, I personally like Angels and Demons more than TDC. He has a fourth book out forgot what it is, haven't read it yet, but Angels and Demons is his first book and possibly his best.

There is some stuff in his books is merely speculation but the brotherhood of Illumanti?!?! It says right in the front that it exists that was probably the most captivating of the book.

I read a lot of classics, but I must say I liked this when I read it. It was done in a couple of hours and I was suprised when I saw the last page... I never even looked at the page numbers (you get some books where you're constantly doing that... they're well... boring). Is it a GREAT book? I don't know... it was a fun read, but deffinetly not a classic. The deepness doesn't go beyond the plot and patterns as far as I could tell (perhaps it does, if so tell me).

As cool as some of these facts are (especially if you're an anti-church kind of person... most kids are these days) make sure you look into whether they're really fact or fiction. They were presented in a way that makes you think, "Wow the world is so much bigger than I thought it was," but really... a lot of them are false. Of course, if Dan Brown had said some of them were false, it wouldn't have made for a good story, now would it?

Fun, fast, exciting book.... insightful... not so much seeing as most of the insight was through a mixture of fictional and non-fictional facts. Now don't get me wrong, I don't think Dan Brown is a bad writer... he's just what we all need sometimes.
