For you, it is pointless, but not for everyone. For me, General Discussion and Recycled Humour are pointless. Now I'll make a thread about how they should be removed and how pointless they are because I don't like them and they are just a waste of bandwith.
Why the hell do you care about TWSites' bandwith? I think DoCk> has enough bandwith to handle another forum. Useless Crap is the most entertaining forum for me, and General Discussion the most boring one.
