Feel sorry for what? Her career that's only there because of who her sister is? Please. She's nothing special: she's not a great singer, she's not a songwriter, and she's not even that cute. In simple language--she sucks.

Yea, I know that the whole SNL thing was pretty bad. They're getting paid millions for doing absolutely nothing, and that makes me kind of mad. Someone actually called into the radio I was listening to who does the sound at the ampitheater near me and said that the only people that perform there that don't lipsinc are the country singers. He said once Jessica (Simpson) was at least a second off on all of her mouth movements. He said that all Top 40 artists lipsinc all the time. But anyway, back to the point...

I still feel bad for her, just in the point that she was singing in front of this huge crowd and because of one thing she did, they all booed her off the stage. That's gotta suck, right after you finish singing about a million (I don't know how many people were at the game, one million is just a guess off the top of my head, someone feel free to correct me) people booing at you. Since she was actually singing, that had to feel pretty bad for everyone to do that to you.

Something kind of like that but not on the same scale really, some guy was making fun of this girl that has a mental disorder, and even though he's a senior and likes to beat up people in his spare time, and I'm just a lowly freshman, I went up and smacked him and told him not to make fun of people. He's going to be out to get me now :fear:

You feel bad for her? People completely humiliate themselves in front of a national television audience for far less money regularily (see Fear Factor, among others). She's getting a lot more money. If I could get paid as much as she did so that 72,000 people could boo me, I'd be laughing it all the way to the bank.

Not only is she rich, she's a famous singer, and gets to be on TV often. That's like every stupid girl's fantasy.

If I could get paid as much as she did so that 72,000 people could boo me, I'd be laughing it all the way to the bank.

But on Fear Factor, the people are willingly humiliating themselves, and when they get done they go back to their normal lives and careers. With her, she didn't want everyone to be booing her, and she didn't willingly humiliate herself. And since she did, now her career is on the line and she can't go back to her normal life. Yes, I do realize that she is making a lot of money, but that doesn't mean that she doesn't still have feelings.
