God, this thing is awesome. I'm up to number 16, but I'm stuck.

For anyone interested in a couple of other games like this, you should try The Stone or Missing: Since January (In Memoriam, in European markets.)

The Stone is very similar and requires a lot of googling. It's puzzles are related to unexplained phenomena and illuminati conspiracy theories. The whole thing is browser-based and I believe it's free to play as well. A lot of the puzzles seem very obscure though, and many don't give you any instructions. They have however set up a forum for discussions and leads to help people out. There are somewhere near 200 different puzzles to work through too.

Missing: Since January is sort of like a take on the Blair Witch Project. The idea is that a serial killer has kidnapped two people who were following his trail. After kidnapping the duo, the killer released a CD containing the duo's video taped footage of their search and other clues to his motives. One neat innovation to this game is that they've set up several fake web sites that contain the answers you need. They've also set up several fake e-mail addresses and other "people" working on the case will be sending you e-mails offering hints or debating ideas on the themes discussed (on that note, it's probably best to set up a unique e-mail account just for this on Yahoo or something).

3 was easy. could someone please lighten 5 for me? i have nothing that will do it for me. using paint only, i can see clearly that there is some message near the bottom, but i cannot make it out. (i floodfilled the background white).

Actually what you're going to want to do is google the page title. Hence the /google/ directory this one is in. That's all I'm saying.
