Gaming in your sleep

I had a dream once where I was in my room eating this one ice cream and it turned into a snowman and I was just watching and suddenly it turned into a tank and soldiers cam from within the tank and started shooting and I went under my desk for cover and I remember the sounds, it was crazy, no doubt there was a war going on in my room and I was just sitting under my desk. So the warsounds end and I come out and my whole room is destroyed, and then finally the desk turns into a nuclear bomb and my whole room explodes but nothing happens to me and then I notice I'm superman, so I start flying around and then I notice that there's a mosquito flying right next to me and I look at the mosquito and burn it with my lazer-eyes. Then I hear a loud voice coming from behind and I look to see what's there and notice that there's a huge swarm of mosquitos and they're all flying towards me looking very angry and that's when I realize that they must be the relatives of that one mosquito that I killed and then the swarm of mosquitos tranform into spaceships that are made of kryptonite and I start to feel sick and then I remember feeling like I was about to die but then I wake up and the dream ends. Oh and the spaceships looked like warbirds.

Basically the worst things I experience over night is when you wake up and see something. I've seen several of times things, like a childs face on my chair, a glowing soldier crossing my room, a panther just to attack me jumped towards me and dissepeard. Luckly I haven't experienced waking up and feeling that one is choking you, like some Christians have.

Have you ever had those dreams where you fall off a tall building and you wake up right before you hit the ground.. those are awesome. sometimes I even know if I'm in a dream or not.

My favorite dream was one I had while I was on my first LSD trip, and has been a recurring theme ever since. It's plot is that it's around 2015 I'd say, because the world's sort of advanced more. But there is a great war, the End of the World type shit - it's because I was reading the Bible when I first started feeling weird. Anyways, Isreal basically fights off the world - even the US refuses to help Israel. There is a "Zion Freedom Corp" created for Americans who want to help the Israel (and believe it's the final battle), and we pack off. We land in the Golan Heights, where there is trench fighting. Each LSD trip I've taken, I've done a different battle around that trench. My most recent was the enemy forces had actually broken in, and as I was lying cold and wet from a recent scouting mission, a tank flew over the top of the trench, but my friend grenaded the treads and we wound up taking the crew prisoner, and turning the tank and making it a permanat fixture in the trench, sort of a mounted gun platform. The setting was grey and brown, with some fog. Scarily quiet, there wasn't much machine gun rattle, just bombs. Lotta dirt. And really cold.

Now being as it is a trip and not a dream, it tends to be insanely powerful and realistic, and I am suprised I havent soiled myself. But I do wake up pretty sweaty and one time even sore, I guess I had turned alot or something.

I'm just glad I wasn't subspacing when I decided to take LSD for the first time. What a waste if I tripped about TWLB every dream...I've already got one belt, don't need more

I don't know about dreaming but after Halo 2 came out i would play it too much on Live and for about a week i kept looking down and to the right for my motion tracker >.<

i've had a few weird dreams after long long long gaming sessions as a student, i mean like when a new MMORPG was released and I played it from 10am to 4am, surviving on coke and houmous (hummus to you americans) then I slept though to 2-3pm the next day, had some totally awful nightmares along the same lines as rab - cant remember offhand because that was a fairly long time ago... but with wow euro release on friday i'm taking a few days off and its gonna be hardcore gaming sadly i've been getting up too early recently for work that i've not remembered a dream i've had in more than 6 months <_<

I have had several dreams about computer games. Dreams about Diaspora, Continuum, Diablo, Freelancer. What happens is if I play them so much in a day I continue to play in my sleep. The fear of dying, losing all the credits/whatever is still there, there is still some control over the game in my sleep, dreams always follow game physics. Sometimes I wake up in the morning expecting myself to have whatever I earned in my dream, be it a new ship, credits/whatever, and I am kinda surprised not to.

So i'm wondering, how many other people have these dreams. And if it's possible for me to have a dream which conforms with game physics, would it be possible to play games using your dream instead of your keyboard/mouse. I've heard of computers being controlled using brain activity, I wonder if that applies to dreams too.
