This program is awesome, in the true sense of the word. http://www.shatters.net/celestia/
It has every single star/planet and some other celestial objects known to man so far (Or at least when the program was written). It even includes a handful of spacecraft such as Huygens/Cassini and Hubble.
You can turn on time, speed it up to more than 1,000,000 real time and watch the universe in motion.

To give you a little idea of the scale, every single star in the screenshot can be clicked on and flown to (each 'flight' always takes 5 seconds, going slower for nearer objects). The detail is amazing and I easily spent quite a lot of time fiddling.
The website has loads of add ons here http://www.celestiamotherlode.net/ which has stuff like more nebulae, more spacecraft and if you want, stuff from Star Wars etc..
