A lot of the RPG's listed here are good, but I'd recommend Star Control 2

Old game, but its awesome. Its supposedly going to be remade for modern computers... computers with Windows 95+...

But still, an awesome game. And the battle system is so similar to subspace, any of you would feel right at home in it.. hehe.

I suggest any game that doesent cost a monthly fee. And for those who are looking forward to playing World of Warcraft and Star War's Galaxies it will cost 10 $ a month.

    P.S ill be playing both

Suikoden II was, by the way, a highly underrated RPG from Konami, a company known more for it's action games, but is definately a great game with 108 playable characters.
Yeah i played Suikoden II, it is a good game. I personally like the fact that you get a castle and I like the two types of battles.

I fucking hate grapefruit. Funny, but I fucking hate RPGs, too. I think anyone can say that RPGs suck. You have to realize that they do suck. I'll grant you that you could be entertained by them, but I'm not, I think they're stupid and dorky. So is Subspace. I like Subspace, but I'm in no way in denial of the fact that Subspace sucks, and is stupid and dorky. Videogames that you don't play with another person in the room suck, period. There's nothing cool or useful about sitting in a room by yourself with a screen. Period.

This just proves that SubSpace really is filled with the biggest dorks on the face of the planet.

I'd take a good story line, developed characters, and amazing film sequances over monotonous asteroid shooting any time.

The fact is that Subspace's survival is based on a network of people. A single person role playing game only requires an imagination and the know-how of the control pad to be a true success.
