I'm back from my self-imposed forum vacation. Working with a couple dozen vBulletin forums each day kind of made coming here less than appealing.
I've since been transferred within the company and I'm now the news editor for Motorcycle.com.
EDIT: I don't know who's handling the administration of these boards now, but if people are interested in tweaks like getting Youtube videos embedded into threads, I can help.

Wow, my old lyrics were kinda, okay.... I don't know why you'd bring back an old thread though. :fear:

I don't see your point here, unless you mean that I wouldn't use pirated software? I could have downloaded photoshop trial to work, but mspaint just seemed to be the "best" and fastest option. Yeah, I used mspaint as I wrote on my other post. I'm a Christian.Originally posted by Jeenyuss View Postyou used mspaint?

I usually use photoshop too, filtering can be great fun. I usually just have all in different layers, when it looks fine, I just flatten the image, that way I bypass the weird effects when you merge layers. Sometimes it just doesn't turn out right when merging. I don't know whats the deal with that, but anyhow, flattening just seals the deal.
I got abit excited and decided to do something.
10+ min sketch, mspaint.

Well mostly photoshop. I don't usually use brushes, more so filters. I render the planets using different effects. The multi-colors are due to an aetherize technique. Text I'll use illustrator sometimes. A lot of it is filtering and lighting effects. Trickiest part is splitting all your images into various groups and applying different effects and filters to each, then merging them.
I learned a lot of it on my own from just messing with it. But I took some schooling for it as well, but that really only helped me with the 3D stuff.
