how many languages do you know?

1st Vietnamese
2nd Norwegian
3rd English
4th German (enough to communicate, ugly language, after french)
5th Japanese (understand lots of words and sentences, these guys has like 3 different alphabets)

English should be the only world language in my opinion. Whats up with all these spanish people not being able to speak english?

btw Ratty... a language is not just something you use to comunicate... it is also part of your cultural tradition so it should be enforced to be kept unchangeable and should retain all the cultural aspects of the persons who speak it as their main language... there is nothing wrongh with the "spanish people who just speak spanish" having english as the world's only language would kill all the cultural aspects related to all languages... imagine the thousands of poems and texts that would be lost forever... imagine the words that would remain unlistened... imagine all the phrases left without understanding... and the paragraphs that would be left meaningless. -_-
