1. The "exposure" thing was me trying to say "I haven't been exposed to them much." I know they're fairly big... hell, even Div Rides went to a release party of theirs in New York a while ago.
2. Go crank up your Lindsay Lohan CDs, Sleepy Weasel.
1. makes sense. I wasn't sure which way you meant it.
2. Does Lindsay Lohan really have CDs?
3. I had 12 gigs of mp3's mysteriously disappear last night. I'm crushed.
It's actually pretty unfair to make a all time top list. New albums are going to place higher then they would if the album was 20 years old (read: The White Stripes).
If it was made in decades it might work.

5: RoboHelp> Are you nuts? You can't ban a staff member!
5: Da1andonly> =((
5: Epinephrine> !ban da1andonly
5: RoboHelp> Staffer "da1andonly" has been banned for abuse.
5: Epinephrine> oh shit
The Beastie Boys - Paul's Boutique
The Chemical Brothers - Dig Your Own Hole
Fatboy Slim - You've Come a Long Way, Baby
Scissor Sisters - Scissor Sisters
Some nice once yeah!
Just add some pink floyd and dyers eve and were all good to go!
Was every band only allowed one album on that list? Because it seems that Queen should have been on there multiple times... at least with their decent albums. and not the awful "Night at the Opera" one.
Yes they should've. But A Night at the Opera was pretty far from awful, considering it had I'm in Love with my Car, Bohemian Rhapsody, '39, and You're My Best Friend on it.
As for the list. What's wrong with it is pretty simple. Alanis Morisette, Nirvana, Dido, and Jesus Christ, Dexy's Midnight Runners are on that list?
But Stevie Ray Vaughan, Tom Waits, Bee Gees, Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, and Chuck Berry are not.
Their self titled album was pretty good, but once again, this is from one perspective of musical taste, so there isn't much arguing over why it didn't happen to be the way you imagined it to be.
I'm going to list albums that I'm surprised aren't on that list at all:
Pearl Jam - Ten
Yeah yeah blah blah my name on here is Pearl Jam of course I'd list this, but come on now; no matter how much you hate Eddie Vedder and his goat voice, the writing, storytelling and music on this album is excellent. To say this album wasn't stacked with classic songs is an understatement - Evenflow? Alive? Jeremy? Black? It deserves a generous spot on that list.
My opinion: A spot anywhere from 15-25.
Definately.
