    Ah, closing time.

I know it wasn't on the radio much, but Pantera's cover of Cat Scratch Fever by Ted Nugent is absolutely wonderful.

      let's see...

Crash Test Dummies- Mmmm (So bad, yet so memorable)
      PUSA - Super Model
      Nirvana - Plato
      Butthole Surfers - Pepper
      Reel Big Fish - Beer
Mighty Mighty Bosstones - Rascal King
That dizneyland song.. god I can't remember the artist...
Trio-Da,da,da Although "fondly remembered" might not be the right description
      Soundgarden - Spoonman
Soul Coughing - Super Bon Bon
Temple of the Dog - Hunger Strike
wadi likes ska? HELL IS RAISING FROM THE GROUND UP.

Did you check out Reel Big Fish's new album? it's kinda crappy in my opinion.

I'm a sucker for rock legacies. For the first three albums (Gold Against The Soul, Generation Terrorists and The Holy Bible) the band were a four piece, four lads from the Welsh Valleys. They had a weird set-up in that two of the band wrote the music and the other two wrote the lyrics, however what was key was that they were really political and ultimately wrote catchy songs. In 1991 guitarist Richey Edwards proved he was was for real by getting a knife and cutting the words FOR REAL into his arm. However he was a bit of a fruitcake and he committed suicide a few years later. The band decided to a carry on as a three piece from their 4th album Everything Must Go onwards, and despite that album being great all subsequant albums saw them deteriorate. They put on a good live show though

MSP... anything past their 4th album is part of their sell-out pop phase. I loved their stuff before that (they used to be my favourite band). Albums 1-4, the main strength is in the lyrics but I really love the music too. After that, their main lyricist went AWOL for whatever depressive reasons making their lyrics go from deep to cheesyshallowdeep.

            1. Generation Terrorists: Anti-establishment Stadium Rock, 80 mins.
            2. Gold Against The Soul: Angsty soft metal.
            3. The Holy Bible: Fragile and suicidal, probably their best album.
            4. Everything Must Go: That album bands tend to have that is still good, but just before they completely mainstream. Poppy but good.
5+ Shit shit shit shit shit.

Gimme a message if you want to have a listen to anything in particular. Not into them anymore at all, nowadays, give me "Don Caballero".

I own both Turn the Radio Off, and Why Do They Rock So Hard, but after that like 3/4s of the band quit, so it's not really the same. I got kinda in to Third Wave in High School, although not so much now.

That Temple of the Dog song I mentioned is one everyone knows, but doesn't thnk they know I'm guessing.

I've wondered who the hell did that song for years, but never bothered to look it up. Thanks.

I just remembered the crack cocaine of 90's radio rock: Offspring - Come Out and Play.
