yea, sacramento is going apeshit right now with the blame game. all the local radio shows are like: "wtf is wrong with adelman! wtf is wrong with the offense....omg, the sky is falling...etc."
i'm like..."dude, months ago when the season started, nobody thought we were going to win anything anyway, so why you freaking out?"
the kings missed their shot at a championship in game 7 against the lakers when they choked all their freethrows. and why don't they just break it up and rebuild? because there's a huge contraversy right now trying to get a new arena built. the maloofs don't want to pay more than 15%, and the public doesn't want to pay for an arena for a casino family worth a billion dollars. So, shit is pretty crunk in the 916 right about now.

Originally posted by death rowAre you a huge Rockets fan also? I really would love to see Houston win another title again. When I was living in Houston back then, it brought the whole city close when the Rockets went on their two title runs. Those were the special Clutch City days.
This current Rockets team has a chance of making noise, simply because I think McGrady has decided to play defense and take the role as the leader. We know McGrady is a great player, but he needs to learn how to be a great 'winner' for Houston to recapture it's glory days. I sure hope your predictions are right, but this team is giving up way too many defensive rebounds. Eventually thats going to catch them.
And I think this is our best chance to recapture the trophy, because this team has a lot of the traits of that old team. We have the league's best one-two punch, excellent shooters, a strong bench and a couple of guys who will go inside and get physical. I really like Mutombo as a reserve in case Yao gets in foul trouble or just has matchup problems. He's been in these games before, and he knows what needs to be done at the center position. I don't even need to speak for McGrady, that clutch jumper with 2.2 ticks left said it all.
Rockets all the way.Originally posted by ToneIt is now time for the energy shift of the 7th root race to manifest on the 3D physical plane and uplift us back to 5D.Originally posted by the_paulGargle battery acid fuckfaceOriginally posted by Material GirlI tried downloading a soundcard

Just to follow up on this, thanks to an unforeseen choke job, my predictions have been shot to hell. I could blame the horrible officiating that directly led to two of Houston's losses, but that doesn't explain the team's complete failure to get even simple rebounds. Giving up second and third chances cost the team a shot. Maybe next year Yao will quit being a pansy. Maybe next year we'll have a decent starting power forward.
So I'm shifting my pick. Phoenix is taking it all.Originally posted by ToneIt is now time for the energy shift of the 7th root race to manifest on the 3D physical plane and uplift us back to 5D.Originally posted by the_paulGargle battery acid fuckfaceOriginally posted by Material GirlI tried downloading a soundcard

Just like last year, I'll pick the Pistons justbecause theyre my favorite, and because I was there in November when they beat Miami.
The Indiana series will be good but Detroit takes it in 6.
Spurs will win the West, Suns can't play defense. And we all found out last year what defense does. Just ask Kobe.
