UK election nearing: parties' science views

A nice article about the things the parties will do related to science liek GM crops etc, stuff you won't read in the pamplet through your door. It seems liek they all say the same thing though and typical of polticians they avoid answering the question directly.

My uncle works as a scientist and developed GM foods when they were being tested. From what I've heard, they're pretty safe but then again theres the morality issue of plumping up a chicken so much that it can't move.
