Beer that tastes like something thats still pretty cheap:
1. Yuengling (for the price of Budweiser/Miller, it's a good fucking deal
2. Honey Brown (see above)

Beer I would buy all the time if I was a millionaire, but is essentially throwing money away given my current financial situation:
1. Rogue Dead Guy Ale
2. Delerium Tremens


Liqour (excluding stuff thats more than about 20 bucks a fifth (750mL))

For drinking out of the bottle:

For drinking on the rocks:
1. Jameson/Bushmills (they taste almost the exact same and are the same price)
2. Jim Beam Black
3. Beefeater (with a little olive juice)

For cheap mix drinks:
1. Seagram's 7 (at 20 bucks a handle, you can mix it with 7-UP at about a 1:1 proportion and it barely tastes like liqour)
2. Seagram's Gin (add a little Rose's lime juice and it barely tastes like liqour)
3. Evan Williams (exactly as good as Jack or Jim in mix drinks)

vodka and tequila are the worst, so i didnt list any of that noise

I really do like the taste of beer, I have a beer or two every night just to unwind. So when I'm going out I usually just have beer, unless its a discount night for a certain drink. I'm not mental on bitter - I'll drink it but I'll choose a lager over it. It goes without saying that most people's favourite lager is Kronenbourg however its also the most expensive by a long way. Stella is a very close second and is quite cheap so usually gets the nod, from me and most people. Therefore to catagorise like facetious:

1) Kronenbourg 1664
2) Stella Artois
3) Carling

A lot of my friends really like Carlsberg but it tastes really chemically to me, you struggle to taste the hops through all the shit they put in it. I'm also not massive on spirits, I don't drink them at home and I don't drink them when I'm out, so I suppose for sakes of length I'd better extend my previous list. This are all my opinions of each beer:

4) Fosters - very sweet, dependant on mood
5) Castlemaine - a lot like Fosters but with a sour twang, typical Australian beer
6) Grolsch - one of the advertising campaigns here featured a guy eating a raw potato and I can't get that out of my head when I drink it now
7) Becks - just your average beer, nothing special
8) Heineken - a lot like Carlsberg but slightly more tolerable
9) Carlsberg

Any beers I've left off that list I don't really drink probably because it isn't stocked or served around here. I know its cliched that American beers taste of piss etc etc, but in my eyes that cliche has only arisen because its true. They seem so weak that you don't get the alcoholic taste, you're just drinking squashed flowers.

Something I can't really put in this list is Louvernbrau (sp). Its a white beer which is delicious but its £5 a pint in some places, so its a 'birthday only' drink.

I tend to drink Carling and Fosters most, but this is more for the fact they are cheap and readily available.

I really enjoy the taste of Hoegaarden, although after a few pints it's a bit too filling. (It's also pretty expensive a most places)

I don't really like Carlsberg or Stella, Carlsberg has an odd taste, and stella is just not a favourite for me cause it was what I drank when I first got drunk. I couldn't even bring myself to drink it until recently.

I'm not really a fan of drinking beer out of bottles, but of the ones I've tried, I must say I don't like Beck's, the taste reminds me of felt tip pens.

As for other lagers such as Kronenburg, Heineken, I don't really know if I like these or not cause wherever has them tends to have Fosters or Carling which I'll buy.

At Chelsea on Saturday I tried Amstel for the first time which was pretty nice.

I drink Castlemaine if I'm in cause my local Unwin's has a 24pack for £12.99. It's ok but not my first choice of beers. (It's also quite weak).

I'm not really a spirits fan, although when I'm getting drunk I tend to start drinking double vodka & redbull.

I also drink snakebite (Cider + lager + blackcurrant cordial) a lot when I am planning on getting drunk).

As far as beer goes, I've been drinking a lot of Blue and Yuengling lately. And as for liquor, it's been Maker's Mark, Jim Beam and Goldschlager.

I tend to stick with the same beers, but with liquor I'll continually cycle onward to something fresh.

I rarely drink anything but beer or whiskey.
For beer, I just recently tried Stella Atrois and it was pretty good but expensive since I'm in Canada. I really like Kilkenny and Alexander Keith. If I'm drinking a lot then I drink Molson Canadian, mainly because I can get it for $3 a pint. Stella and Kilkenny run around $7-8 at pub.
I usually stick with Wisers for whiskey.

My friends that drink beer usually drink Super Bock wich is a portuguese beer , very alcoholic "for a beer" and very tasty...

When i care to drink i usually go for some safari with orange juice although i also like bacardi lemon, vodka, pisang ambon, martini rosso, or malibu but i always try to keep my alcohol consumption within limits... at dinner i like red wine and i also like Oporto wine wich is a generous fine wine.
