That is not a dignifiing treatment... i wont discuss the reasons for his arrest as i think he should be in jail until he dies but despite of what he has done and how severe and inhumane his acts might have been he deserves to be treated with respect and in a dignifiing way... it's a shame the way the US treat most of his prisioners of war... guantanamo should be investigated by an independent organism and US war crimes should be taken to Den Haag to be judged and punished.

It's not just guantanamo that's disgusting, there was a series of programs not too far back looking at prisoners in US generally, and quite frankly I'm disgusted. But to be fair to the US they only looked at one side of the coin and the things they do probably exist in other countries but never the less, disgusted.

On one of the shows they did a short experiment of putting volunteers into the same conditions of that in guantanamo and again I was disgusted. What's worse is they haven't even had a trial, an innocent guy could be in there going insane from the white noise and etc.

Like you said, at least the U.S. doesn't torture their POW's, much like the case of many other foreign nations (Vietnam Anyone?)

So a story about a British tabloid exploiting a prisoners rights and the U.S. getting upset and trying to defend his rights get turned around into an anti-U.S. thread. You guys sure have it out for us.
