Electromagnetic waves are a way of transferring energy. If you're irradiating your brain with them its naive to think that all of the energy will be dissipated as simply heat. Some of it will get into your nuerons and cause... I don't know what. It could be nothing, or it could cause cancer, or it could kill the brain cells, or could shut down your brain. Since everyone is different, a trial on 100 or so people may not show any adverse results, but somewhere along the line someone may die from it. Its their call, really...
