                      anyone know where i can find the Driver update for a Mobility Radeon 9700?

                          Does exist, but not officially :fear:
                          You can download the Omega drivers and install them for your Mobility Radeon. Alternatively you could download the latest Catalyst driver and install it (might get an error, but just click through it), and modify the drivers with a tool you can download here.

                          I'd go with the Omega drivers.
