Freedom. Right, forgot about that. How about we make all drugs legal and allow people to kill themselves much faster? Darwinism at its finest.

While we're at it, let's also make guns readily availible for every man woman and child--we have to protect ourselves!

Hmm, making weed legal won't kill people faster, IMO. I don't see how having an easier acess to it means more people will die from it. Cocaine? Heroin, LSD? I could undestand where you're going with that, although by now most people who want to try those drugs, have. If you haven't yet it's either because you haven't been exposed to it, or don't want to suffer the negative side effects/consequences (death, endangering your life, not talking about prison here). Of course, if your reason is the former than if you really want to try a drug, you wouldn't let that stop you.

I'm also kind of confused as to how the last part fits into this.
My father in law was telling me over Thanksgiving about this amazing bartender at some bar he frequented who could shake a martini and fill it to the rim with no leftovers and he thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. I then proceeded to his home bar and made four martinis in one shaker with unfamiliar glassware and a non standard shaker and did the same thing. From that moment forward I knew he had no compunction about my cock ever being in his daughter's mouth.

You're right. You did forget about it. Completely and Totally forgot. It has absolutely zero to do with Darwinism, and the "oh my the sky is falling" attitude that if all drugs were legal people would be dropping dead like flies.

It has every single thing in the world to do with freedom. I have the right as an adult to put whatever the hell I want in my body. It's my body, and that is quite possibly one of the most important rights possible. Just because you don't like it, or you don't agree with the usage, and listen close here fella: IT GIVES YOU NO RIGHT WHATSOEVER to legislate it for other people. Seperate the two. Your right to do what you want with your life, and live your life how you want it, is a great thing. Why is it exactly you're all for rules that keep others from doing the same, when they're not hurting other people?

Just so you know, you're kinda a tool for trying to bring the gun argument into it, especially in the realy grasping and fear mongering way you tried to do so. But it really doesn't matter, I'm pro-gun ownership too. Why?

        That's so incredibly simple.

I'd rather be free than safe, any fucking day of the week.

You are right, lets keep it illegal, imprison everyone, allow drug related crime and violence to continue while the CIA traffics it (at least oversees the trafficing and flashes badges to stop busts)

                Riddle me this Batman:

Most of you are on and on about pot, which, I will concede, is a relatively weak drug compared to others like LSD, coke, meth, etc.

You're yelling at me for bringing guns into it when the two are "very very different." Drugs are just as lethal as guns, so the vibe I'm getting from you [Face, Sarien, LB] is that it's okay for the more harmful substances I mentioned above to be trafficed because the drug law being put into action to combat them would also take away your precious "weed."

You don't have to prove it to me. Conduct a study (an illegal one of course, that darned marijuana is still illegal?!?) that proves conclusively the effects of moderate pot use are not hazardous in any way/shape/form to the user and do not impair the judgement of said user in ways that would render them dangerous to others or themselves. Such a study would then isolate reefer from other more harmful drugs. Then you can have your fucking doobie break and all the trafficers of cocaine can sit in prison. Everybody's happy.

Pity that won't happen. You can write to your congressman. You can start a petition. You can rally the troops--you can do almost anything except change the minds of a republican controlled conservative congress. Welcome to 2005.

So T0NE, in essence you support the legalization of all drugs because banning any of them would be an infringement on your right to... what? Your body? Privacy? Then by that same logic it should be permissible to traffic such substances as cocaine, heroin, LSD, and meth to children and addicts because, after all, they are mentally capable of making smart choices and they can decide for themselves what they want to do with their bodies, nevermind the fact that each of the drugs I just listed has been proven to be addictive.

You are the biggest douche on the planet.

Not because they take away the bringer of life, fun, and bearable chemotherapy treatments (Weed), but because your body is just about the one thing that nobody can dispute that you own. If you live in a free country, you have the right to put anything you want, into your own body. Period. There is no "what if it's bad for you", no "what if it's addictive". The "War on Drugs" is a politician game. Nothing more. It's a tool to distract people. For christ's sake just LOOK at prohibition, there it was baptists. Nevermind that the war on drugs just doesn't work. Heroin is over 600 times CHEAPER than it was before the war on drugs. But wait, at least it does create a black market, that doesn't care if they sell it to say kids, or trade it for various other illegal activities. Whee.

A verrry nice attempt at a dodge. But not good enough. There are already studies, and the best proof of all:
There has never been a person, in the history of mankind that has died from an overdose of marijuana.
Why is it so hard for you to simply understand that it's an issue of liberty.
Keep your morals and ethics outta my fucking house. And I promise to keep mine out of yours.
