You're an idiot if you're comparing to amassing a multimillion dollar fortune to the brutality of slavery. Jackson's childhood was rough and he took beatings, and had little choice but to follow the path of his father's wishes, and that undoubtedly led to him being incredibly fucked up.

But his childhood was nowhere near the same ballpark as what the reality of slavery was. Children were ripped from the arms of mothers and shipped to other plantations like cattle. Slaves were killed or savagely beaten if they tried to LEARN TO READ. The US Supreme Court ruled they were nothing more than PROPERTY---no more than a table, a chair, or a horse. Their entire identites had to be hidden in total secrecy. As an artist, Jackson had the opportunity to express himself publically in exchange for huge amounts of money.

I never said therapy is an overnight cure, I didn't even imply that. But 30 years of it, and he's still a pedophile? What fucking planet are you on?

i think if the prosecutor just accused jacko of molestation, the case would have been different to (or at least viewed differently by) the jury. The fact of the matter is there was a whole bunch of other accusations as well that sort of unraveled this underlying "scam" the family was trying to pull off.

I do think he had boys in his bed, whether or not he molested them is questionable. Besides, hes a screwed up guy.
