Everyone has a handful of songs they're embarrassed of. Whether they are in stark contrast to their typical "musical persona" or just admittedly awful, there is nothing you can do to force yourself to hate these guilty pleasures no matter how hard you try.

Maroon 5 - Harder To Breathe
Phil Collins - Take Me Home (ever listened to the full version of this? it's like 8 fucking minutes long)
Gavin Degraw - Chariot (OHHH, CHARIOTTTT)
Don Henley - Dirty Laundry

Here is, hands down, the worst one. I have never listened to this with other people in the same room as me. I've never even played this when my roommate is in our apartment, despite the fact that we're best friends. I can't help it, though...it's one funky motherfucker.

Justin Timberlake - Senoritas

For the record, I hate everything else Justin Timberlake stands for and has ever created. Hopefully that will salvage a small portion of my street cred.

avril lavigne - damn cold night: i like the yodeling type part in the bridge.
britney spears - sometimes: i was home sick from school for a whole week in 8th grade. this video was getting a lot of play on mtv. so it's kind of nostalgic, and she was hot back then.
christina aguilera - beautiful: i just like it :/
the dixie chicks - landslide. but i like the original too.
jewel - you were meant for me
monica - angel of mine
yellowcard - ocean avenue

and the worst: N'sync - (god must have spent) a little more time on you. once again, this was during the week i was home from school in eighth grade watching mtv all morning. the song burned itself into my brain and has a strong element of nostalgia that roots back to that week.

99 problems is just irreversably horrible in my mind. it seems like every verse he should go down a number (99, 98, 97, ..., 1) like the 99 bottles of beer on the wall song. not good music.
