Roger Waters was a bit dissapointing because IMO he couldn't really sing like he used to.

Dave Gilmore on the other hand, jesus fucking christ that man can do his thing alright! His voice just keeps getting better with time and the guitar playing isn't really going in a bad direction either!

The who was great too, pete townshend was rockin' like he was still 20.

i remember some of the london live8 in the pub yesterday.. i heard razorlight were v good, i only rememebr seeing the last few.. like robbioe williams and peter kay (but its about what i expected

I'm going to break with tradition and say that I didn't enjoy the Pink Floyd set. Firstly I'm not a fan so thats 90% of the reason why I didn't enjoy it, however for a family event and in the time slot of the usual show stopping finale, I found it odd they pencilled in some psychedelic stoner music. As much as it pains me to say it, that slot was screaming for some more Robbie Williams style singalongs

Firstly thats not my point, I was saying its a weird choice to finish on and they didn't finish on Robbie Williams, secondly the Libertines are about the most un-psychedelic bands ever to exist so I'm not sure what you're trying to say

I just made up the libertines because that was what was coming out of my speakers at that moment. You know what I mean.

My point was that they didn't finish with psychedelic guitar riffs either, Paul McCartney Co. was there to save the day and make a wonderful ending for the show.
