The 10'27.67" and 43'54.33" are not in decimal values. They are in minutes and seconds, which sort of means they are base 60. 24°43 is not actually 24.43° but rather 24° plus (43/60)°, or 24.7167°. If you want to include the 54.33", then you'd have to divide that by 60 first to convert it to a decimal and then add it to 43. 54.33/60 = 0.9055, so 43.9055/60 = 0.7318. That means that the decimal value of 24°43'54.33"E is 24.7318. The 60.102767 should be off too, but only by about 0.072°.Originally posted by JeansiComment
