I know the engineer who developed the controller for one of the Otis elevator models.

I ALWAYS take the stairs now.

stairs overrated? more like escalaters and elevators are overrated. Not once in my life have i gone up one, well, i'll admit i have once. One time, when i was 5 i took the elevator in a hotel we were staying. On the elevator, you could see the streets below (because there was no wall there). We were on I think the 17th floor of the 25floor hotel in Florida, or maybe it was even an apartment building, I can't really remember that part. But while we were riding up, it stopped and got shut down. It then broke and fell down 4stories before the safety cables had come into use. Ever since that day I haven't gone up or down stories on an escelator or elevator, only stairs. Also, yes, try going up the CN Tower, its one hell of a walk. I ran it, apparently I did it in one of the fastest times.
      the price is right, bitch.
