how do you unlock rented movies from blockbusters...

I went up and rented CSI and the dumb motherfuker up there didnt take out the little yellow bar thingy... anyone know how to pop the bar out without breaking the box? Its to late for me to go back up and I really don't wanna have to go back up there after work soo....

any help?

I would but it doesn't matter I use my mom's card and she has that movie pass thing...

i dont think theres a way to do it, my friend did it on a used game we bought and destroyed the box

If I remember correctly, it looks kinda like this:

and the device they use has magnets at key points to bend those little tabs inward so it can slide out without any resistance.

The problem would be finding where to stick the magnets (I think they need to be fairly strong, too). And you can't do one tab at a time, both have to be pulled in at the same time, then it will slide out.

Seriously, it happened two times, and I just cut the boxes open with a large, sharp knife. If you cut the box carefully, you will not damage the disk at all.

And enjoy the frustrated, yet apologetic look on the manager's face as you return the shredded box. It's the look that says "What the hell is wrong with you, you savage?" but also says "Damn, looks like we fucked up" at the same time.

Well, after consulting with my cousin, we walked down to the Blockbuster and we bought a cheap, used, shitty movie.

I think it was called My Girl.

I asked them to not remove the yellow thing, and they said it had to come off.

After 3 mins. of deliberation, they let me do it. I got home and tried everything possible to get this thing open. After much shegrin, I found that it is nearly impossible to get the fucking yellow thing off. So we did what J=T said, and cut the fucker open.

Thus ruining a good pair of scissors, and around 5 bucks.
