Oh hell yes, this is a very good RPG, but includes a lot of stuff that happened in the first, so you might not understand what's going on in the story to much, but the game is still worth the buy... or download...

I think he is referring to Phantasy Star... Which is a good series too, Phantasy Star II was classic...

I think there might be a hacked game that plays Final Fantasy on a sega emulator, but that's all I can think of...

Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance I & II were both good games, kind of like diablo, but limited to certain things, but make up for it in the way they desgined the game... Not really tunred based, but still fun...

Kingdom Heart was good, but to kiddie for me, I got to the middle of the game and gave up...

True Crime: Streets of L.A. is a complete rip off of GTA: Vice City, but regardless, was still okay... Not turned based either, I know...

Xenosaga, I dunno, I never really got into, I'll try it again sometime, maybe I might be willing to play it this time...

Star Ocean: Till The End of Time, I'm only at the beginning of this one, I keep putting it off to play it... But what I've seen is a nice looking game...

Dynasty Warriors series, not turned based as it is, I dunno, gang related? :P Just a bunch of dudes killing each other to gain empires...

As said above, Shadow Hearts 2 kick ass...

Breath Of Fire: Dragon Quarter... Was ok, didn't get into this one either...

Suikoden III: Haven't got to far in this, but pretty fun game...

Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, as said above, is a good game, but a lot of talking envolved, but still halarious when they do...

Zone Of The Enders: The Second Runner, I know this isn't anything dealing with a RPG, but it is an awsome game...

Front Mission 4, I like it a lot, beat the whole thing, shotty ending though...

All those are games I've tried on the PS2...

Disgaea would be better if they I don't know, allowed you to choose japanese audio? Fucking dub ruins everything.

Atleast they smartened up for La Pucelle Tactics and Makai Kingdom.

Um Bilbo... you can have Japanese voices in Disgaea... <_<

English dub for disgaea was awesome in most regards, except for 1 or two voices, I don't know what you're complaining about.
My father in law was telling me over Thanksgiving about this amazing bartender at some bar he frequented who could shake a martini and fill it to the rim with no leftovers and he thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. I then proceeded to his home bar and made four martinis in one shaker with unfamiliar glassware and a non standard shaker and did the same thing. From that moment forward I knew he had no compunction about my cock ever being in his daughter's mouth.

Yeah, I was surprized with how well the delivery of the lines in english were in Disgaea.

Bah Nethack, I prefer to play roguelikes where I don't have to worry about starving to death or getting together one of the only 3 possible ascension kits ;P

I kind of enjoyed super mario rpg, actually. something about the childish humor of it just kept me laughing. I've been playing paper mario on the gamecube for a few days now, which hasn't ever actually been challenging, but again, good for some casual gaming.
