Call of Duty is a mish-mash of various WWII movies actually. There's scenes from Enemy at the Gates, Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers and Where Eagles Dare. I'm sure there's more but I haven't seen EVERY WWII movie in existance

but i think they should of incorporated Operation Market Garden into Call Of Duty (A Bridge Too Far), that would of made a fantastic mission, all they did was put Arnhem as a multiplayer map
