We're in a war right now, well America is, and we're calling it a war... Why can't those be classified as wars?

It's a war over money, land, idealism, oil, self-protection (pre-emptive strike), imperialism.... take your pick. Even though it didn't begin as a religious war, it is now (Bush vs fundamentalist Islamist terrorists). And since they call it a jihad... its a religious war.
