0_o thats weird. In New zealand, the system goes
Primary school: 5-13
High school: 13-18
Occasionally with a intermediate school from 11-13, as a step between primary and high school.

Exams are tough, even if you don't have a crappy new system that the crappy government introduced to try get more crappy people to pass, and which they screwed up royally.

Hey Nailed I got an E in ICT which is the minimum pass grade and guess what, only 1 other person out of our class of about 20 passed.

There have been many complaints about that teacher though, Something has to happen. Having said that, I hate blaming teachers, its usually pretty weak.

Edit: ICT isn't computer science, its general Information and Communication studies, includes stuff liek web-design, programming, sys installation, sys analysis blahblah

Not bad for my first year at college, considering in that year i got 1500 hours of usage in continuum aswell ^-^
