My cousin is in his second year at sussex doing Economics. Ive been there a few times with my college and stuff, but its a bit too close to home for me ^-^

Hey Nailed I got an E in ICT which is the minimum pass grade and guess what, only 1 other person out of our class of about 20 passed.

There have been many complaints about that teacher though, Something has to happen. Having said that, I hate blaming teachers, its usually pretty weak.

Edit: ICT isn't computer science, its general Information and Communication studies, includes stuff liek web-design, programming, sys installation, sys analysis blahblah

HOW? LOL. ICT was easy...i got and A and B in the exams and D in coursework...which = C.

Depends, I do a Double AVCE which is not only a lot harder than a standard A-Level, its also twice the work of a standard AVCE. I'm one of the most intelligent in my class, there is an uproar at college and parents want our teacher sacked.

After 1 year of us complaining, people are finally doing something.

You have to ask yourself something when most people in a class of very intelligent kids fail.

So before you start acting the smartarse, read.

Hey, you have a screwed up system too? I thought I was the only one!
(I sat three scholarship papers at the end of high school- physics, chem, and statistics. Of the three, I thought I did worse in statistics, but passed the sciences. Turns out, I passed the statistics, and failed the sciences, because their expectations were too high. Of the whole country, there was less than 100 people who got chemistry.)

Its just a shame that teaching standards vary between schools.

Not really...AP exams are so you don't have to retake the class/course again in college. If you pass the tests during high school, you automatically get college credit...but if you don't pass, you still don't have to take it over in high school (unless you flunk the class as well as the exam ) Luckily you got a 3/C, which means you don't have to take US again :greedy:

I still haven't got my results, they should have sent them me in a letter ages ago, I phoned them up Wednesday but they said they haven't received the letter to be able to send it off yet, meh.
