We asians aren't doomed, like you think. The only bad thing with us is that we may be a little short and thin. It's really easy to increase your muscles mass if you go for it.
But the reason some of us may be short is because of the temperature or food in asia.
Cause the asians who are born in Norway is actually taller than average asians (atleast its what I see).


But that's also another cultural difference. Asians living here, who are immigrants realize that such fantasies are simply not true. A lot of us realize that the only way to get ahead in this world is to try our hardest, so you see a lot of us trying harder in school to get good jobs. I wouldn't have had to try nearly as hard in school if I was still back in the old country, because family connections would have gotten me great jobs easily, much like it is easy for people who are FROM HERE to do well. Now because other things in real life aren't as easy, asians realize that the same applies to getting girls.

Just going to the gym a couple of days a week, staying fit and healthy while adding a little mass in the right places at the same time. Nothing as extreme as bodybuilding.Asians might not have to go to the gym to stay healthy/thin, but that's not the only reason to go. There's nothing wrong or horrendusly deviant from your culture in improving your body, hell that's one of the products of martial arts. I know the focus of such arts isn't the same, but you still get a toned, fit body from practicing most martial arts.

But like Blanke said, it seems like you have a defeatist's attitude, you sound like someone who decided and accepted the fact that they just can't get as many girls as __ male guys, or __ male guys. Like the only way to get them is to work the hardest in school and get the best jobs (which Bio pointed out in the topic is still not the easiest thing in the world, even if you;'re over qualified). I don't know what age you are, but a toned body and a sense of humor / good social precense will get you alot farther than a good paying job. Money will only lure a girl in, it won't keep her there.

There are very few fat people in asia, because we asians have higher metabolisms and also eat different diets. Actually there's a lot less fat people outside of North America period. So much so that a great majority of people outside of North America don't NEED to work out to be thin because they simply aren't fat. Obsessively working out is a very American thing and has only developed over the past 40 years or so with the whole media portrayal of the 'ideal' male. Simply put, body type isn't as important in asia because most people have the same body type. It's things like having a good looking face, being 'cool' (which is different from being cool in North America in many ways as the cultural things you need to know and do are just different), and being successful are important.

Uh... like I said what I posted had was not about me. Why are you giving me tips on how to work out? I work out frequently and my last girlfriend was white. Nor did I say that working out was deviant against the 'asian culture', I merely mentioned that the asian conception of beauty doesn't require someone to workout, and thus working out is not socially built into many asians. Our parents don't say 'go and play sports and be healthy' they say 'go and study and get a good job'. Why don't white people study more at the library if they complain about failing school? It's a pointless thing to direct at me personally which you obviously are. I was answering your question about why asians care when white guys go out with asian girls.

I'm not trying to tell you how to work out, I was simply explaining what I meant by " work out", because I got the feeling that you and I had different perceptions on the idea. I don't need to know that your last girlfriend was white, or how often you work out, I was just trying to get you to better understand where I (and I think Blanke, but I won't speak for him) was coming from.

I wanted you to get a better idea of my conception of working out, because your previous posts had made it seem like you thought working out mean steroids and pill-popping, thus going away from your asian culture and ideal of staying fit and healthy. This wasn't the case, and is what I was trying to tell you.

Some kids that complain about failing school don't go to the library simply because they think that no matter how hard they study, they will still do poorly. This is also the case for alot of guys (race doesn't matter) , when it comes to girls. They have a negative outlook to begin with, think they won't do that well even if they try, so they cut out the middle man and don't try at all.

I'm only talking directly to you in that regard because the tone of your last post, maybe another one in the past pages, had a negative ring to it. Not a hateful tone, just more of a " I'm asian, we don't get that much, get off my case ". I could be wrong, and I'm not trying to tell you how to live your life, I'm simply trying to say that you don't have to limit yourself to excel in what is expected of you. Race will only be a defining factor on how stable the relationship could become, due to some families intimidating the girl in question. In my opinion, initiative and confidence is what will count for first impressions, and maybe more asian men need to acquire that perception.

Well there isn't a whole lot to getting girls. Race will be a factor like I mentioned in some cases, but generally you just have to relax and not treat them as a big deal. I'm trying to preach as little as possible, but that's my take on the matter.
