The Lion w/ Wings is a symbol of Venice. Not that I want to assume, but I would say it is on a building somwhere in Venice?

Nice! Yeah, it's the winged lion of St. Mark, the symbol adopted by the venetian republic. No idea where that one is, as you say probably venice, but you can see them on buildings dotted around southern europe.

I might have to give you 1) before this quiz starts to suck anymore.

Only reason I know that symbol is we fabricated one in Fiberglass, very close to the one pictured for EPCOT yrs ago, for the Venezia section of the park. That as well as work for the Morracco section.

Well pic 1) is a huge statue in Lisbon called Padrão dos Descobrimentos
which celebrates portugeuse explorers, Henry the Navigator, Vasco da Gama and lots of others.

I think 404 wins this with his obsure fiberglass knowledge, so you're up if you want.
