I think those scams do their thing with combinations of group hypnotism (and/or mass hysteria) putting people in a suggestive state. Not to belittle your experience, though.
Although, if you've ever passed out (I have low blood pressure that sometimes drops the blood pressure to my brain drastically: It made me faint once) waking up after it is a very surreal experience. Its like dying, and coming back to life, and doesn't need anyone to pray for you. Theres a momentary peroid where everything is happy. And then I remember where I am.
I imagine its something like doing Nos, or other drugs that deprive your brain of oxygen. But, having never done them, I wouldn't know.

In a biblical sense, it -shouldn't- be a member of the same sex because it demeans the role of a man in a relationship, society, and etc. But in a biblical sense it also states that we should love the sinner and not the sin... so basically it's not like I'm any better than a homosexual in any way. We're all sinners.

Even worse! The reason they shouldn't get married is due to them perhaps "demeaning the role of men", yet getting married to a woman and giving up your privacy and most of your possessions doesn't demean their role at all.

The reason it's 1 man and 1 woman is because that's the way God made us. If you believe that God created man and woman, then it would make sense to heed manufacturer's instruction. They are more than just instructions, you would be submitting to spiritual law.

Right... I'm all for gay couples getting a piece of paper that allows them to save money on their taxes, and as a proclaimation to the world that they're in love. Even better, I think that any constitution that takes rights away rather than give them is ludicrous. Banning gay marriages and abortions are both awesome examples, because I feel as if someone else is making a decision for you on your own spiritual morality.

I just can't condone their "holy" matrimony. But then again, I can't speak for their love towards each other either... so in this matter I'm in a limbo between the pages in the bible.

I realize that conservative christians would want marriage to be "holy" and blah blah blah, but the only problem is that what they really want is to say that homosexuality is repulsive. I don't agree with that at all... especially if God told us to love one another, to care for each other, and etc.

There is nothing wrong with homosexual marriages other than the "holy" part in the matrimony. Because God is infinite in holiness, to define something that is sin as holy is... well... bad.

there's a difference between not minding homosexuals to saying that theyre the same as everyone else.
