  • In my opinion, the love for another human being, a hobby (a pro that loves the sport he's doing) and stuff like that can be infinite too.

And majin, even though Da Vinci Code has a lot of truth in it, it's still got a lot of bullshit in it. Pretty much everything about the Opus Dei is bullshit.

Saying what you did almost enforces the idea of slavery to God.
Letting us fall is one of the greatest, albeit saddest, gifts He has allowed us. In other words giving us free will, the choice to choose to love God or reject Him, is what makes us human. If it weren't for free will we would never have fallen and we got would never have any problems with us, but why live without it? In the end it what really matters is the choices we make: whether we love God and whether we love others.

It is true that we don't need to include God in our lives, but I for one find that He makes my life much more enjoyable.

It's not so much as they're sinning by being naked, rather wanting to hide the sin from God. This goes back to the concept of free will.

It's better that you ask him than me.

            You're going to hell.

            That, and God doesn't exist.

              Lol.
Lag wasn't created by god, or even humans. It was created by microsoft.

              • If God knows everything, then why would he even bother creating us? He'll know what we do, wouldn't it be like reading over a book you made (bad example). And, if he knew that Lucifer was gonna go to the dark side, then why would he even make it?

Does he enjoy owning his friends in the future?

And, are we the only living things in our universe?

Why would you ask that question if you're breathing and living in the first place? Your answer is right there.

You have to realize that God is completely soverign over everything... believers, non-believers, angels, the devil... even lucifer can only do what God allows for him to do.

I don't understand what you mean by "owning his friends".

Personally, I don't really believe we're the only planet in the entire universe that sustains life, though there hasn't been any evidence yet of another planet with a sentient/dominant species... did they find life on mars yet?

                    • I think that what Bioture is trying to say is that it doesn't matter why he created us - he did. Trying to understand why God does things isn't really going to get you anywhere since the concept behind God is that he is an all powerful being - something humans cannot totally understand. I mean, we can sit here all day and give God human emotions and say that is why he created the universe - i.e. amusement, curiousity, boredom, etc. The point is, there is nothing to say God is constrained to or even exhibits at all any sort of emotion withint our grasp of understanding.

                        1) If god judge a person by how high that person thinks of him, then that god must be very very egoistical. No, I do not want to be close to such a god.

                        2) To an omnipotent god, anything is possibly, why do you think he can't measure our degrees of sin - and if the answer is that he won't, then are you telling me he isn't fair?

Why do you think we won't? Is there any where in the Bible saying that people do not change their mind when they are in heaven.

And if your answer is that there is something that is beyond my tiny comprehension: then you can use that answer for all questions because I can use that answer for all the obsurd questions and I would never be proven wrong:

Unfortunately, even if there is a god whose strength is infinite, you still need your own strength to succeed almost everything on earth.

                            - That's exactly the opposite of what I was trying to say. God loves us regardless of what we think of Him. I was trying to explain how it doesnt MATTER what YOU judge to be the difference from person to person, because no matter how good (mother teresa) or how bad (serial murderer) you may be to someone on EARTH, we're still no where close to how infinitely perfect God is.

                            2) To an omnipotent god, anything is possibly, why do you think he can't measure our degrees of sin - and if the answer is that he won't, then are you telling me he isn't fair?

                            - it isn't fair when a human is judging it, no. So basically lying is just as bad as murder - all sin is equal in the eyes of God and we're born with the sin of the flesh already so it pretty much does us in.

Why do you think we won't? Is there any where in the Bible saying that people do not change their mind when they are in heaven.

                            - well granted that heaven will fulfill your every single need, that plus you'll be with God, I have my doubts. If we think about this logically, if we're stupid, I don't think we'd be that stupid.

There is only 1 type of person who never changed his/her mind on earth - a vege.
