Ever have your wisdom teeth out?

I was knocked unconscious by some gas I don't remember the name of now, and when you wake up, they're gone and it doesn't hurt a bit. It might hurt from the fall you get from trying to take that first step off the chair.

I got 3 out this past summer. I was knocked out and didn't feel a thing. I was also told that only 1 of my wisdom teeth were impacted. It was quick and painless for me.

My cousin told me about the time he pulled out his wisdom teeth once, I got scared after hearing it. And this guy is supposed to love pain.

im pretty sure that a person only has 4 wisdom teeth, 2 on bottom, 2 on top. 32 in total 28 without them

i had mine out when i was 16 on the first day of summer vacation, i wasn't knocked out but i couldn't feel anything, but i could hear bone scraping and thinking to myelf "this should be hurting, but it doesn't" and then they stitched up the 4 holes and sent me on my way. The worst thing was the amount of blood, i nearly threw up twice on the way up ebcause of the blood. The enxt day it was fine, but i couldn't eat much. A couple days later the stitches fell out and i was back into summer mode. pretty sweet.

Just get them to pass the gas. Who in the world would go to a dentist and NOT get gas?
I get them to give me gas even when I just stop in to pay the bill!

I've never had my wisdom teeth taken out, and I've never had braces, no surgery in my mouth, etc. It sounds pretty painful though, but at least you're getting drugs with it, and it isn't just done raw without anything to numb/knock you out like it used to be.

Wow, it would've sucked to have a root canal back then

I always get shots, but on the other hand I've never done any major dental work except filling a few cavities.

Took me 20 minutes to drive to get mine removed, 10 minute surgery, 30 minute drive back cause a traffic jam on the highway. Was back and eating in 3 days.

i heard it hurts alot but it didn't only thing was that dentist said I can't go to my gf and i can't vacuum my room and I have to relax because there was big never.

Dentist said everyone just say it hurts because they wanna hear pity from other.

I have all 4 of mine in, and I'm probably going to have to get the bottom ones out, they're growing in, but there's no room for them, so they're popping up through the gums, where the gums follow my jaw up to the roof of my mouth........hard to explain with words, lets just say that they're not growing up anymore, and they're slightly covered in gums still.
Top ones are fine, they're in not quite level, but in nonetheless

The worst part is when you can feel the doctor putting all the pressure on your one tooth. it felt like he was going to break my jaw
