Best: wonton soup (but not the stuff you find in those americanized-chinese restaurants. Homemade and/or specialty shops in taiwan are the best. Also, another thing from taiwan, this "pancake" made from first panfrying oysters and an egg, then this flour concoction, and some kind of leafy vegetable. The sauce makes it declicious. Then there is bread (buttery garlic bread), mashed potatoes (garlic, butter, as long as it's good), anythign else potato, and pretty much everything except bugs.
Worst:Bugs (because I'm biased and prejudiced like that). Oh, duck tongue too. Mmmm...most airline foods. The bread coming back from Japan is delectable, and the food in general. They don't give you those hard, flour bricks we get here on flights within/out of the U.S.
Edit: Vegetables=$$$. It's all about the balance of meats, fruits, vegetables, and grains. I don't understand the whole pasta+bread thing though, that's a carb overload.
