Today, for example, I had the Chef's special which includes a couple of California rolls, an eel hand roll, two tempura shrimp, about 15 thick slices of salmon and plus slices of tuna and red snapper. Standard appetizers include miso soup, a small bowl of those salted pea pods, salad with homemade orange dressing, and a bowl of congee. All that came at about $9.95, but that's not including the free stuff they give people.
That would easily cost 3x that much here. I can't believe how lucky you are. For 10 bucks I would eat dinner there every day.
One of my favorite places to eat is the Ono Hawaiian Barbeque, some of you if you live in CA may know of it. But you pay like $6 bucks or so for a very nice portion of food. I always get the Barbeque mix, which is 1-2 Kalibi short ribs, a ton of barbequed beef(think beef jerky taste ish, but soft and sometimes slightly fatty) and 2-3 big pieces of white meat barbeque chicken(each piece is about the size of your palm), with 3 scoops of sticky white rice. I could eat that every freakin day.
I have a question for people who are Hispanic and/or like Mexican food, why are Carne Asada tacos so damn small? There's these two Mexican places on the corner from me(along with a Taco Bell... smart business huh? <_< ) that are like... real authentic Mexican fast food(aka NOT Taco Bell/Del Taco) and they always put the Carne Asada tacos on two tiny limp flour tortillas then put far more guacamole/pico de gallo on than meat, just something 've wondered about.
And I STILL haven't tried sushi... I want to though.
"There are those who said this day would never come. What have they to say now?" .Halo.
Y'know... if you were any stupider, I swear death by laughter would be a real medical occurance.
You people who like all foods are weird. How can you like all food? I can name like 91829812 foods that are disgusting (or at least they're disgusting after I try to cook it, once again this may be a personal problem)
TK said it, "I don't really have a "worst food". There's a lot of food that I'm indifferent towards but I'd gladly eat without complaint."
Plus, I'm Asian, I don't really have a choice in what I eat. If it moved at one point, it's probably edible to Asians.

Bitterness is like cancer. It eats upon the host. But anger is like fire. It burns it all clean.
Yeah, honeydew, when ripe and sweet, is extremely, extremely good.
I used to dislike watermelon, but now i like it. I love the seedless watermelon, but I wonder how they get it like so and how quickly they grow them? Do they use any chemical growth enhancers?
Colonel and I were talking about this earlier, sorta. We were talking about Perogies.... Perogies have to be one of the best foods out there.
As far as what else I think are among the best foods. I'd probably say popcorn, who doesn't like popcorn? Pizza...I don't know anyone who doesn't like pizza. Ice cream, no brainer there. Chocolate, steak, bananas, apples, oranges...chicken.
Just came back from my favourite Japanese restaurant. It's the best place I've ever been to. It's a small family place in Scarborough (obviously, that won't help you J=T, but it could for other Torontonians). The prices are relatively cheap, the portions are huge and they give you free stuff! Depends on the day, sometimes they'll give you crab rolls, hand rolls, and my favourite, tempura salmon. Today we got a couple of fried dumplings and some tempura shrimp rolls. What you order is often enough for a good meal, but the stuff they give you adds another couple of dollars worth of value, for free.
Where is this restaurant TK? I might want to try it out. =)
favourite food for the moment would have to be Pho (Vietnamese noodles). You get a lot for the price.
food i hate the most is this vegetable called bitter mellon. name says it all

Midland and Finch. There's a plaza there with a medical centre right on the intersection. There's a Taco Bell and a Pizza Hut there. The restaurant is tucked away in the inner-most corner of the plaza. It's really small and easy to miss.

OMFG, how could I forget my own favorite food from my own country.
