What I want to know is, is it possible for nanobots to take over a body and control it (in your opinion, if you have one)? No links, a simple yes or no will do.

They're a little shaky with their terminology. They managed to charge the gold particles... no mean feat, considering golds relative stability. Technically they're not really gold plated, just gold containing. I'm guessing the gold formed some sort of ionic bond with the X- in the teichoic acid. I don't see where they get calling the teichoic acid metal insulators because they wrap themselves around the gold, which as they've already said, has become ionised so isn't going to conduct electricity too well anyway...
Also, they refer to gold nanoparticles. Since they don't call it 'gold atom' or 'gold ion', I'm guessing its some kind of cluster of multiple gold atoms. Meh, but thats just their wording thats funny.

It seems like they have the teichoic acid molecules as the main part, acting as a dielectric between adjacent gold parts (Why gold, incidentally? copper is cheaper... oh nm, gold doesn't rust... I get it now.) and it expands with the water moisture in the air. This changes the capacitance of the capacitor, so I guess they place it in a circuit with an Inductor, so there is a characteristic frequency for each humidity (water concentration) value. Pretty clever.

Also, Tone, why does that link to the cyber humans only say "Drastically reduce fatalities of U.S. soldiers involved in wars." Are other countries soldiers not good enough?
Eh, the age of humanity drawing to a close. But not for another 100 years, at least.

I got blooped by some ravers at a...rave, once. My butt hurt in the morning
My father in law was telling me over Thanksgiving about this amazing bartender at some bar he frequented who could shake a martini and fill it to the rim with no leftovers and he thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. I then proceeded to his home bar and made four martinis in one shaker with unfamiliar glassware and a non standard shaker and did the same thing. From that moment forward I knew he had no compunction about my cock ever being in his daughter's mouth.

i want to start a thread in musical differences called 'best video game music' and underneath my list include one .WMA of a song from mech warrior II. its an old game not even sold anymore unlike old albums, and no one would care though technically its copywritted music i suppose. . . .

I dont like what that says. Some of the most advanced technologies are being devoloped now by DARPA and will go to a bad cause before good civilian ones.
