currently listening to arctic monkeys btw. i'm liking it. libertines still better in the genre, but it's nice to hear a new sound once in a while in the same genre.

every beer equals like 2 slices of bread, so i better stop drinkin before my hunger is all gone.

drinking on an empty stomach is very smart from an economic point of view (especially when the beer comes from the fridge)

To be fair, he was drunk. I know that I do stupid things online when I'm tipsy, be nice to him ahaha

i was not even close to being drunk. i was enjoying my first two beers of the evening when posting that. right now, 4 liters of beer later, i'm close to getting drunk, i'm going to drink some more while playing subspace and get properly drunk like i am supposed to after an exam. i had the best mexican spare ribs since ever, man that was good! i just could keep eating and eating while throwin down the beer to cool off my troath. hmm hmm hmm! (btw i just weight 65 kilos, i sometimes wonder where all that food (meat) goes)

Hah my avatar is the best ever. Eddie Izzard is my hero. Although his transvastite ways are weird imo, he's the best comedian ever. Especially as a historian student i can appreciate his jokes to the fullest

I'm thinking about making another paragraph; someone like:

Although I am not planning to take a gap year before university, I am planning on taking one after. During this year, I plan to go travelling, as I realise that I may not get another chance to. I am looking to make the most of my youth to ensure I don’t have any regrets.

...but I don't like the look of it. Any ideas on how to improve/add to it? :/

I wouldnt advise adding in that paragraph (imho). Doesnt make you sound like the dedicated career-minded student. Though mentioning a love of travel and culture is always a good idea.

One worry about this statement is that its geetting a little long. Remember your uni assessors have to trawl through hundreds of these, and they dont really want to know your deep philosophies in life. Keep it to the point and relevent.

Not bad though, and if I can find my personal statement (which no doubt is hiding on my dusty floppies somewhere...), ill post it, for comparison.

My tutor suggested filling out the statement a bit more, becuase he thought it looked too short. I think you're right, though, about the paragraph and the length.
