Only slightly a religious thread, because this doesn't just include Christian Heaven but anything any of you believe in when it pertains to an enjoyable afterlife, if you believe in an afterlife at all.
But to get on the actual topic today, I just watched the Robin Williams' movie "Patch Adams" in it's entirety(new word?) for the first time today, and as it said at the end of the movie that he was not dead, that I thought to myself that I hope someone like this gets a very special place in Heaven.
Note: If you don't know who Patch Adams is, he was a man who had himself commited to a Psych Ward because he was suicidal because he felt empty in his life. While there he found happiness with himself by making the mental patients happy, making them enjoy their life, albeit in a "nut house", and not worry about it. He released himself from the Psych Ward(self commited, he was allowed to leave when he wanted to) and came to the realization that he wanted to be a doctor to help people. He went through a bunch of crap with the school because he was treating the patients like people and such, and went on to open an in home clinic that served people completely free of charge, with something like 1k+(I think, far more actually) doctors and med students wanting to give up their own jobs/school to work with Patch. So basically, he shaked up the system.
So I was just thinking, with my faith there is a Heaven and hopefully this man has a very special place in Heaven for what he has done.
So the point of this thread is, do you guys think there's anyone you've watched a movie about, read about, heard about or actually know that deserve a place in Heaven, or whatever you believe in?
