No excuse for the Birds demise last night, but it is now coming out in the press here in Philly that Hugh Douglas caught Ownes bragging about a BS injury he has on his leg/foot and Douglas told him in so many words what a piece of crap he is. T.O. tried to take a shot at Douglas....bad move...and Douglas basically imobilized T.O. in the locker room.

It has also been noted that T.O. was asked by the management to appologize to his teamates in the locker room & T.O. wanted nothing to do with that, so he did it in a press conference. The Bird's did not wantthis to go as main stream media as it did, it was just T.O. needing to be in the spotlight of controversy again. The guy is a cancer that needs to be removed!!

So the Birds lost...rebuilding time in the Eagles org. but after 7 years of whoopin everone in the NFC East, I guess it was due time for the Skins not to linger in the basement by themselves.

At 4 - 4 with a Skins game still to come to Philly on Jan. 1st...we will have to see if we split this year and who will be in last at that time. You still have the Chargers, Rams, Cowboy & Giants to face. The Cards game could be an interesting matchup.

Seahwaks and the Giants are going to bury the Birds this season.

Yea, that was a pretty crazy game. I can't believe McNabb tried to pull that stupid ass trick play, but even dumber was that his team was totally clueless that it was coming. You're telling me the defense has enough awareness to be prepared for a fake spike, but the O-line isn't at least going to put a hand up? If they had protected McNabb a little, they could have at least gotten a chance at a field goal to tie. :noexpress
