To me, George W. Bush is increasing the pressure in a gas house, a full fledged war is only one spark away. Neither is that a bad thing: as a consequnce of the war in this sceptic age, religion might be banned as radical solution and it will lead to longer harmony.

Second, a world war would require a LOT of shit to go down the tube. Think Telcat (I know that seems like a paradox), who would fight in a world war? It would have to be America vs. some superpower to really be a "world war" in the traditional sense. So who, China? No they make too much money off us. Europe? No, they make money off us and enjoy our military muscle - not to mention years of good diplomatic relations. Russia? No, their country sucks now. Australia? I hope so, so that you can get drafted and die.

Now why don't you respond to my reasons why a world war is not imminent, like your dumb logic about religion being the root of all evil says, instead of hinting at a resource war with the Muslim world.
