Sad thing is i did that from the top of my head... but it is a kickass song.
Only a few bands/singers that i really can listen to for days and days and days... beatles/lennon is one of them.
But i have to agree, if he didn't get shot his legend wouldn't have been so great, but that is will all those people...

Didn't have time to read the thread, just wanted to comment that I always thought he got shot 4 times? Or am I just plain wrong?

The classic rock station i listen to said twice in the back, but CNN said 4 as well so ehh? Either way, he rocked, he also did alot of humanist type work that alot of people dont remember.

To be honest, this was about the best thing that could have happened to John Lennon. This is event is responsible for John Lennon's Legend state and for the vast attention for what John Lennon stood for. John Lennon wouldn't be John Lennon if he were alive right now.

Now of course, I don't agree with this event, it shouldn't have happened. He could have done alot of great stuff. But for him and what he stood for to be as big as it is right now, it's all because he did get shot. Same with Kennedy really, it's very doubtfull Kennedy would ever have been so big if he just served his term etc.

Firstly, in the Netherlands we have Sinterklaas (dutch version of Santa Claus) who's "birthday" is on the 5th of december and then he gives us all gifts because he is that nice. So December doesn't mean christmas over here, first Sinterklaas and then after that the christmas shit starts over here. Second of all, just because it's December and Christmas is coming I am not gonna be extra extra nice, or extra extra giving. I am nice and I give throughout the whole year. It's kinda bs to be nice, and giving and spirited because it's christmas and the rest of the year to be a grumpy old fag. And last I don't value Christmas that highly, sure it's fun, I have vacation, the lights, the tree (we never got presents at christmas because of sinterklaas) but I am not gonna be a totally different person because of it.
