Personally I'll be getting a PS3 just because, I was tempted to turn to XBox. Luckily my friend consoled me in my time of need for online capabilities. I got a PS2 online adapter that Christmas and have yet to use it.

Yeah and that makes sense if you have a sweet pc and/or you enjoy upgrading and tweaking your pc.

For me, I'd rather just take the box that keeps working and plays every game that is made for it whether it comes out today or 3 years from now, plus I can rent games.

Final Fantasy alone is enough to buy the damn console.

Final Fantasy, Devil May Cry 4, Metal Gear Solid 4, Visions GT (Gran Turismo), Tekken, Untitled Rockstar game (wild west theme it looks like). Anything from Rockstar is fun.
And a few beat em up games that looks good.
Let's just hope lots of RPGs will come on Ps3.

Well, the new GTA game was announced to be released dually on both PS3 and XBOX 360.....So Im sorta pumped, even if it is a year away.

It's not worth it I hear after 2 hours it overheats and shuts down. Waiting until they fix these problems to buy one.

omfg is this guys funny? well zab its not a problem, but the xbox overheats because vents get dont get popped, they are covered by a plastic layer to protect the fan in packaging, and people forget to pop it, so xobo overheats, also this is due to postitioning of the xbox, hi sube btw, and i think yes, yes it is a good idea to purchase the console in about 6 months, when they push the fan closer to to shell of the xbox to stop it from overheating SO QUICKLY and when they bring out a considerable amount of games, e.g. Halo 3

i had my xbox 360 nonstop on for 12 hours & it did not overheat & did not shut down.

i dont have any problems with my xbox 360

I was thinking of buying 360 cause of Oblivion, but then I heard it'll come on the PC too, so I guess I won't buy the shitty console.

Mine was returned to Costco for some unknown reason... I got it just thinking that if it didn't work right I could just take it back, so it was worth a shot.. haven't had any problems.

I'll probably still take it back and get a new one when they have them in stock, costco is good like that.
